Protest in Tirana: The same bank near the Unknown Soldier attacked again

The same bank targeted for the second day

The incident was recorded near the Unknown Soldier monument, where protesters once again damaged the same bank. The episode comes just one day after the previous attack on the same facility.

The repetition of the same scenario in the same place raises questions not only about the level of tension in the protest, but also about the lack of prevention in such a sensitive area of the capital.

Chairs were taken out of the bank and burned in the street

During the protest, several people took chairs out of the bank’s premises and placed them in the middle of the intersection.

They were then set on fire, shifting the escalation from property damage to an open scene of urban tension at one of Tirana’s busiest points.

Clear escalation in the area

The burning of chairs in the street increased tensions in the area, while the same private institution once again became the target of violent actions.

At this stage, the dynamics of the incident show a clear escalation on the ground, with repeated damage and actions that have directly affected public space.

The incident marks the second consecutive day of attacks on the same bank near the Unknown Soldier, in a protest that has produced not only material damage, but also increased insecurity in the center of the capital.
