In the VIP stands, major names such as Tom Cruise, Shakira, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner and Kevin Hart were seen following the historic clash between the two national teams up close.
Among the guests was also President of the United States Donald Trump, who took part in the trophy presentation ceremony alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
From the world of sports, NBA stars were also present, including Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Victor Wembanyama and James Harden, while social media phenomenon IShowSpeed was also at the stadium.
Another historic moment was the organization, for the first time, of the official halftime show of the World Cup final. On stage performed well-known global music names such as Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber and South Korean group BTS, accompanied by other special guest artists.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere outside the stadium was just as electric. Thousands of Argentine and Spanish fans filled the streets of New York, especially Times Square, creating a huge football celebration several hours before the final kicked off.
