Valon Bela has publicly reacted after being declared “non grata” by the Interior Ministry, a decision that, according to the official version, is linked to actions harmful to Albania. In his response, Bela rejects the measure and shifts the debate to the lack of transparency over the specific reasons for the intervention.

In a public post, Bela wrote that a fighter’s dignity is not measured by the right to enter a state or not, but by the legacy he has left behind and the respect he enjoys among the people.
He described the decision as administrative and argued that such a measure cannot erase the history, sacrifice and contribution of an Albanian. In the same response, he raised the question of what message is being sent when a person who describes himself as having participated in three Albanian national wars is declared undesirable in the Albanian state.

In his response, Bela used harsh political language toward the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama, portraying the decision as part of a stance that, according to him, harms the national interest.
