According to the announcement made public by Rama, Albanian boxing champion Nelson Hysa was received at the Prime Ministry. The prime minister described him as “The Albanian Eagle” who knows no defeat, while also linking the post to coach Zef Gjoni.
In the same message, Rama also used a political reference when he wrote that he is “together with the democrat Zef Gjoni” in a fight “only for victory,” wording that turns a sports meeting into communication material with partisan undertones.
Hysa defended his title and remained undefeated
Two days earlier, Nelson Hysa defeated Norway’s Thomas Narmo in just two rounds, retaining his title and taking his record to 25 wins and no losses.
This result further strengthens Hysa’s profile in professional boxing, while the victory comes after a long period without a fight.
