Police have escorted singer Jozefin Marku and another person after the publication of a video showing violence against Edi Kuçi. The incident, which according to preliminary investigations was recorded in the area of the Rinas overpass in Tirana, prompted a reaction only after the footage became public.

Escorted after the video was published
Jozefin Marku was taken to police during the day today, after the video in which he and other people appear assaulting Edi Kuçi spread publicly.
According to the information made public, along with Marku, another person suspected of being involved in the same incident was also escorted.
Where the incident is suspected to have happened
From the verifications so far, authorities say the video was recorded in Tirana, at the Rinas overpass.
This detail narrows the area of the investigation, but the full circumstances of the episode and the role of each person appearing in the footage still remain unclear.
Camera footage has been seized
According to police, security cameras in the area have been seized to reconstruct movements and identify the people seen in the video.
The investigation is currently based on this footage, while so far there is no full official tally of the number of people involved.
Peja arrest warrant also in the background
A day earlier, the Peja Prosecution had issued an arrest warrant for Jozefin Marku in connection with the assault of the citizen from Kosovo.
This development places the case on a broader investigative track as well, beyond the delayed reaction that came only after the footage of the violence was made public.
At this stage, authorities have spoken of police escorting and investigative actions regarding the video evidence, while concrete criminal responsibility remains to be determined.
The case once again raises questions about the speed of the institutional response in episodes of violence that receive attention only when a video begins circulating.
