The second goal followed soon after. Karim Adeyemi doubled the score in the first half with a precise finish into the far corner, putting Barcelona on course for a comfortable evening very early on.

Feyenoord tried, but Barcelona stayed in command

The Dutch side had a few attempts to respond in the first half, but failed to strike in the decisive moments. Barcelona, meanwhile, managed the game calmly and kept the match under control.
