Kategoria Superiore standings after Week 6: Tirana sink Partizani, Teuta stay top

Teuta on top, Egnatia move close

After six rounds of the championship, Teuta e Tetovës lead the standings with 16 points. Right behind them are Egnatia, just one point back, keeping the race for the top spot open.

Dinamo, after the defeat to Vllaznia, have lost ground and now sit four points off first place. The gap is not unreachable, but the latest round showed that the pace at the top leaves little room for mistakes.

The derby gives Tirana breathing room

The 3-1 success against Partizani has given Tirana a strong push in the standings. The white-and-blues have climbed to fourth place with 8 points, moving out of a more difficult area of the table and restoring calm in their camp.

For a team that needed a response, the derby came at the right moment. The three points against a direct rival carry weight not only in the standings, but also for morale.

Partizani near the bottom, Skënderbeu last

On the other side, Partizani are going through a difficult spell. The derby defeat leaves the red side in next-to-last place with just 4 points after six rounds, a record far below expectations for a team with ambitions.

Below them are only Skënderbeu, who sit bottom with 3 points. At this stage of the championship, the gaps remain manageable, but the signs for the teams at the foot of the table are clearly worrying.

The bottom zone remains tight

Also in the lower part of the standings are Vora and Vllaznia, while Elbasani and Laçi are positioned in mid-table. This keeps the championship fragmented, with teams moving quickly from one week to the next.

After Week 6, the picture is clearer for the moment each team is going through: at the top the pace is being maintained, while lower down every defeat is proving more costly.

The capital derby produced the strongest effect of the week, lifting Tirana and deepening Partizani’s crisis.

At the top, Teuta hold a minimal advantage over Egnatia, while the race remains open both for first place and for survival.
