The student protest in Tirana has entered a more tense phase, with gatherings from several universities and a march toward the Ministry of Education. At the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the situation got out of control when some of the protesters broke the main door and entered the interior premises.

March from several universities toward the Ministry
Students from the University of Medicine, UBT, the Polytechnic University and the Faculty of Law, among others, have joined the march toward the Ministry of Education.
The movement comes at the peak of unrest at universities, as dissatisfaction is spreading beyond a single campus or faculty.
Tensions at the Faculty of Natural Sciences
Clashes and tensions were reported at the Faculty of Natural Sciences during the protest.
According to footage and reports from the scene, some protesters broke the faculty’s main door and entered the interior premises, escalating the situation to a point that requires an institutional response, not only formal statements.
High school students also join the protest
High school students from the “Partizani” school also took part in the protest, joining students and other young people in Tirana.
The participation of secondary school students shows that the dissatisfaction is taking on broader dimensions and is moving beyond the boundaries of university lecture halls.
Boycott also in other districts
The movement has not been limited only to the capital. In universities in several other districts, a boycott of classes has also begun.
This action is being presented as a sign of solidarity with the students in Tirana, signaling that the protest is taking the form of a broader reaction across the university system.
The escalation of the protest and its spread across several universities shifts the pressure to the Ministry of Education, which is facing dissatisfaction that no longer appears isolated.
It remains to be seen whether the institutions will provide concrete answers to the demands and growing anger, or whether they will settle for managing the situation only on the surface.
