The youth protest has moved in front of the Ministry of Education, where students from several universities and high school pupils have gathered in a situation that is becoming increasingly tense on the ground. According to footage and reports from the scene, police have been deployed in front of the building, while pyrotechnic objects have also been thrown toward the institution.

Gathering outside the ministry and increased police presence
Students from the University of Medicine, UBT, the Polytechnic University, the Faculty of Law and other faculties have gathered outside the Ministry of Education.
At the same time, police have taken positions in front of the building, in a scene that points to an escalation of the situation and rising tension between protesters and the authorities.
Pyrotechnic devices thrown toward the building
The protest has also seen reports of pyrotechnic objects being thrown toward the Ministry of Education.
At this stage, the dynamics on the ground point to a harsher response from protesters, while institutions are facing a situation that no longer appears merely symbolic or routine.
Tensions also at the Faculty of Natural Sciences
Clashes have also been reported at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, where some protesters broke the main door and entered the interior of the building.
The incident marks another critical moment of the day, shifting pressure not only onto the ministry but also inside university premises.
High school pupils join, Elbasan begins boycott
High school pupils from the “Partizani” school have also joined the protest, expanding participation beyond the universities.
Meanwhile, a boycott of classes has begun at the University of Elbasan as a sign of solidarity with students in Tirana. In Durrës, Shkodër, Vlorë and Gjirokastër, reports indicate the teaching process is continuing normally.
The expansion of the protest from the faculties to the Ministry of Education, along with the involvement of high school pupils, makes the situation more politically and institutionally sensitive.
For now, the picture remains divided: tension in Tirana and solidarity in Elbasan, while other universities in the districts continue without interruption.
