The 100th day of the gathering in Tirana was marked by another march toward the Prime Minister’s Office, where protesters repeated their political demands against the government and organized a symbolic encirclement of the building.
The march began at Skanderbeg Square
The demonstrators initially gathered at Skanderbeg Square, as on other days of the protest, before continuing toward Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard.
They then stopped in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, turning this day of protest as well into a direct demonstration against the government.
Political chants against the government
During the gathering, protesters continued calling for the prime minister’s resignation and for the creation of a technical government.
The demands remain the same even after 100 days of protest, showing that the political confrontation in the streets is being kept alive without any clear sign of an institutional response.
Symbolic encirclement of the Prime Minister’s Office
After the speeches ended, protesters joined hands and symbolically encircled the Prime Minister’s Office building.
At the same time, another group marched nearby with flares, underscoring the demonstrative character of the action.
The slogan used at this gathering was “Albania is not for sale,” a message that accompanied the symbolic action outside the government headquarters.
The protest on its 100th day once again places the Prime Minister’s Office at the center of the discontent expressed in the streets, while the political response to these demands remains unclear.
