The rally against the political class in Tirana entered its 128th day, with another demonstration in the streets focused on the country’s main decision-making institutions. Protesters first appeared outside Parliament and then in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, keeping public pressure focused on the politics they oppose.

The gathering began outside Parliament
This Monday, protesters gathered in front of the Parliament of Albania, at the same time as the plenary session was taking place there. Their presence outside the Parliament building placed the rally in front of one of the institutions they see as a symbol of the political crisis they oppose.
Although the protest has entered its 128th day, their demands remain the same: they say they will not withdraw without concrete answers.
From Parliament to the Prime Minister’s Office
After remaining outside Parliament, the protesters continued their march through Tirana and stopped in front of the Prime Minister’s Office. There too they delivered speeches, repeating that they do not intend to leave until the demands they have raised are fulfilled.
The movement of the protest from Parliament to the seat of government shifted the message toward the two main centers of political power, on a day when the demonstration again sought visibility and public pressure.
Response also to Berisha’s call
During the rally, there was also a response to Sali Berisha’s call for protest. The protesters declared that they do not accept that call.
This position shows that the group seeks to maintain distance from direct political involvement, at least according to the statements made at the protest.
On the 128th day of the rally, Tirana once again saw protesters outside state institutions, while their message remained unchanged: they will stay in the streets until the demands they have raised are met.
