After the clashes at the protest held in the capital, several Democratic Party lawmakers went to the Trauma Hospital, where people injured during the rally are receiving medical assistance. From the hospital premises, opposition representatives described the situation as alarming and raised claims of violence against students.

Visit to the Trauma Hospital
Several PD lawmakers arrived at the Trauma Hospital this evening to see firsthand the condition of protesters injured during the violent rally in the capital.
Among them were Jorida Tabaku, Belind Këlliçi, Ledina Alolli, Gjin Gjoni, Klodjana Çapja, Greta Bardeli and Gent Strazimiri.
Opposition speaks of an alarming situation
From the hospital, opposition lawmakers described the situation as alarming, linking it to the episodes of violence reported during the protest.
This is a political assessment made by them on the ground, while at this stage no complete official data have been presented on the number and severity of the injuries.
Claim of violence against students
According to the PD lawmakers’ version, dozens of students were assaulted during the protest.
The claim adds pressure for a full institutional clarification of how the rally was managed and the circumstances in which participants were injured.
The evening’s events shifted attention from the street to the hospital emergency ward, where the consequences of the clashes were seen most concretely.
Beyond the political statements, it remains essential that any claim of violence be fully documented and verified by the responsible institutions.
