The protest against the government continued this Saturday in Tirana, entering its 77th day. Demonstrators initially gathered in Skanderbeg Square and then marched toward the Prime Minister’s Office, where they repeated calls for resignation and political change.

As on previous evenings, protesters began gathering in Skanderbeg Square and then proceeded on foot along the “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard.
The rally once again focused in front of the Prime Minister’s Office building, a choice that keeps political pressure focused directly on the government.
Calls for resignation and a technical government
In front of Prime Minister Edi Rama’s office, protesters continued their calls for resignation and demands for the overthrow of the political class.
Among the demands voiced by demonstrators was the creation of a technical government, while the message of the protest remained the same: frontal opposition to the current executive.

Once again, the diaspora joined the protest, increasing attendance at the evening rally in the capital.
