An explosive blast was recorded this evening in Shkodra, in an incident that raises serious questions about security, especially as the target appears to have been the vehicle of a Criminalistics officer.

The blast on the western ring road
The incident happened on the city’s western ring road. According to the information made public, the explosive substance was placed on a vehicle parked near the home.
The vehicle is reported to belong to Ardjan Bacina, a Criminalistics officer. At this stage, the circumstances and motives have not been made clear.
What police say
The official version speaks of an incident that occurred at around 20:50 in the “Guerrile” neighborhood, where the vehicle of citizen A.B., a police employee, was damaged while parked on the street in front of the home.
Police say the use of an explosive substance is suspected, but so far there is only preliminary information and not a full clarification of the mechanism of the blast.
Material damage, no injuries
According to preliminary information, no one was injured. However, the explosion caused material damage, affecting not only the vehicle but also the door of the home.
The fact that the blast occurred near a residential area makes the incident even more serious, beyond the direct damage to the vehicle.
Investigation under the direction of the Prosecution Office
According to police, the investigative group is working under the direction of the Prosecution Office to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify the perpetrator or perpetrators.
At this stage, there is no public information about any escorted persons or specific investigative leads, and it remains to be seen how quickly there will be answers to an incident that also directly affects law enforcement structures.
The blast targeting the vehicle of a police employee moves the incident beyond ordinary crime reporting and turns it into a real test for the response of investigative institutions.
So far, the public has only the preliminary version from the authorities, while questions about the perpetrators, the motive and the level of security on the ground remain open.
