A serious road accident was reported this afternoon on the Fier i Ri–Ngurrëz stretch, where a motorcycle veered off the road. According to the official Police version, the rider, 47, was seriously injured and was urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.

According to the police statement, the motorcycle was being driven by citizen E. T., 47 years old. As a result of leaving the road, he suffered serious injuries.
The incident was recorded at around 16:45 on the Fier i Ri–Ngurrëz road axis. At this stage, the authorities have not provided further details on the circumstances of the accident.
Urgently transported to Tirana
The injured man, according to Police, was sent urgently to the Trauma Hospital, where he is receiving medical assistance.
There is still no official information on his full health condition beyond the fact that the injuries have been classified as serious.
