The serious incident in the village of Domen in Postribë has deepened further, after a second lifeless body was found in the home engulfed by flames. The police’s preliminary version points to a tragic toll, while the causes of the fire remain unclear.
The second body was found inside the burned home
After a fire broke out at a home in the village of Domen, in Shkodra’s Postribë administrative unit, authorities confirmed the discovery of a second lifeless body inside the building.
Earlier, another body had been found, which was suspected to belong to a child. The latest development has further worsened the incident, while the exact toll is being verified by investigators.
Police give a preliminary account of the victims
According to the official statement, at around 13:10 a fire broke out at the home owned by citizen B. Ç., and the building was burned.
Police claim that from the initial actions it is suspected that, as a result of the fire, citizen B. Ç., 24 years old, as well as two young children, aged 3 and 1 and a half, lost their lives.
