A serious incident has been recorded in Postriba, Shkoder, where a fire in a home claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman and her two children, aged 1 and 3. The circumstances remain unclear, while the authorities’ preliminary version points to a possible explosion of a gas cylinder.
The fatal incident in the village of Domen
According to police, the incident happened at around 1:10 p.m. in the village of Domen, in the administrative unit of Postriba. The young woman was inside the home together with her two children at the moment the flames engulfed the house.
The three victims could not be brought out in time. The heavy toll has shocked the area and raised questions about the conditions of the home where the fire broke out.
Initial suspicions and elements found at the scene

The family had come from Germany
The Cela family lived in Germany and had come to Shkoder for vacation. They had gone to the family’s old house in the village of Domen with the aim of carrying out repairs and some work on the home.
This makes the incident even more tragic, as the visit to the village proved fatal for the young mother and her two small children.
