The gathering in front of the Prime Minister’s Office once again ended with a march and chants against Prime Minister Edi Rama and the political class. As part of the continuing daily protests, participants repeated their demand for resignation, while a protest in Shkodër against the establishment of the Serbian consulate in the city was also announced from the square.
The same demand on the 63rd day as well
The protesters maintained the same position as in the previous 62 days: the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the departure of the entire political class.
The gathering was held in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, a symbolic address of political anger, where the chants again focused on the responsibility of the government and the ruling elite as a whole.
Territorial reform remained at the center of the messages
Although the protest was presented as national, the main focus in the square remained territorial reform.
This kept the gathering on a familiar political line, where dissatisfaction with governance was linked directly to the way decisions affecting representation and local organization have been made.
The diaspora joined the gathering
Albanians from the diaspora also joined in the square, delivering messages against the political class.
Their participation added symbolic weight to the protest, even though the demands voiced remained along the same lines as those of previous days.
Protest announced in Shkodër
It was announced from the protest in Tirana that a gathering will be held tomorrow in Shkodër against the establishment of the Serbian consulate in the city.
The announcement expanded the protest’s agenda beyond Tirana and brought attention to another issue carrying strong public and political weight.
The gathering ended, as on other nights, with a march through the streets of the capital.
At the end, the protesters called for a return to the square again, keeping political pressure on the government and the ruling class alive.
