Six people were injured in the fire that engulfed a hotel in Vlora in the early hours of the morning, while the version made public by the Ministry of Health shows that five of them have been sent to Tirana for more specialized treatment. Among the injured, one girl is reported to be in more serious condition due to extensive burns.
What the Ministry of Health says
According to the official statement, the injured initially received first aid at the Vlora Regional Hospital. Afterwards, five patients were transported to Tirana, while one person continues treatment in Vlora.
The ministry reported that two of the injured suffered significant bodily burns, without giving further details on the full circumstances of the incident or the causes of the fire.
Three patients at QSUT
According to health authorities, three citizens have arrived at QSUT and are receiving medical treatment.
One of the patients is in serious condition because of the high percentage of burns and is being kept under continuous monitoring. For another patient, the ministry said the clinical condition appears calmer and that he is being followed by the medical staff.
Two injured women at the Trauma Hospital
Two other female patients are being treated at the University Trauma Hospital, where they arrived with multiple injuries, according to the official version.
One of them is reported to be in stabilized condition, while the other has also been stabilized, but due to her injuries she will be kept under intensive and continuous monitoring.
