Shkodër County is facing several active wildfire hotspots, while according to the authorities the most difficult front remains on Mount Tërbuni in Pukë. The flames are being fueled by the wind, and intervention in some areas is being constrained by the terrain, keeping the situation unstable despite the engagement of several structures on the ground.

Tërbuni, the most difficult area in the county
According to official data, the most problematic situation is on Mount Tërbuni in Pukë, where the line of flames has stretched for more than 10 kilometers across forest canopy.
Authorities say that so far no homes are reported to be at risk, but the wind is affecting the spread of the fire and making it more difficult to isolate the hotspot.
Active hotspots also in Bardhaj, Mnelë and Naraç
In Bardhaj-Myselim, the fire continues to remain active in a forested area. Firefighting vehicles have been positioned near homes for immediate intervention in case of reactivation.
In Mnelë e Madhe, in the Municipality of Vau Dejës, the fire remains active and according to the official version strong wind is favoring the spread of the flames toward the area. Another hotspot has also been reported in Naraç.
Where the situation has been brought under control and where it has not
In Bërdicë, overnight intervention made it possible to protect homes and bring the situation under control. Intervention was also carried out at a fire hotspot in Shtoj i Ri.
In Fushë-Arrëz, the fire in Kulumri has been completely extinguished and the area is being monitored. Meanwhile, in Iballë-Fierzë the hotspot remains active in difficult and inaccessible terrain, limiting intervention from the ground.
Authorities speak of coordination, but terrain remains a challenge
The operation involves the Fire Protection and Rescue Service, the Armed Forces, the Forestry Service, Civil Emergencies and local civil protection structures.
The Prefecture of Shkodër County says it is coordinating actions with local structures and the National Civil Protection Agency. However, the presence of several active hotspots at the same time and the spread of the flames by the wind show that the situation on the ground remains fragile.
The priority declared by the authorities remains the protection of homes and stopping the advance of the flames.
For the moment, Shkodër County remains under pressure from several active hotspots, with Tërbuni in Pukë as the most critical point.
