Message from the protest in Prishtina

At the gathering organized in Kosovo’s capital, Altin Krasniqi addressed the protesters with a call not to retreat.

He said that his presence at that protest was not only as the son of Jakup Krasniqi, but also as part of a society that, according to him, directly feels what is happening.

Claim of injustice

In his speech, Altin Krasniqi described as injustice what, according to him, has happened in The Hague to his father.

He linked this development to the sacrifice of the martyrs, veterans, and the families of the missing, presenting the issue as broader than the fate of one individual.

“We will continue to demand justice”

In his public statement, he said that for six years they have sought justice and that this effort, according to him, will continue.

Altin Krasniqi warned that surrender must not be an option, arguing that such a retreat would be judged by history and by the generations to come.

Call for political unity

At the end of his message, he called on political parties to set aside their differences and come forward with a common position.

His appeal at the protest focused on political and social unity in the face of the issue he raised publicly.

The protest in Skanderbeg Square was held in support of the UCK and gathered participants who called for solidarity around this cause.

Altin Krasniqi’s message placed the emphasis on continuing the demand for justice and rejecting surrender.
