An attack involving stones and a Molotov cocktail was recorded against the Shkodër Municipality building, in an incident that raises serious questions about the security of public institutions and the response of the responsible structures.
Attack near the municipality entrance
According to information published so far, a group of masked youths attacked the Shkodër Municipality building this afternoon, first with stones and then with a Molotov cocktail.
The improvised explosive device detonated near the institution’s entrance door, turning the area into a scene of tension at one of the main buildings of the local administration.
No injuries reported
At this stage, no injuries have been reported from the attack.
However, the absence of human casualties does not diminish the seriousness of the incident, as it was a direct act against a public institution.
Footage first appeared on social media
Footage of the attack was published on social media by Fatjon Mani, identified as chairman of the Democratic Party Youth Forum, Shkodër branch.
This remains one of the first public sources through which the incident became known, while institutions have yet to provide a fuller version of the circumstances.

So far, there is no confirmed information on the identification of the people involved in the attack.
