Paris Saint-Germain took all three points from a heated clash with Barcelona, winning 4-2 in Paris in a match where pace, responses and goals were present right to the end.

PSG opened the scoring late in the first half
The French side went in front in the 38th minute through Désiré Doué, taking a narrow lead into the break after a balanced contest that was decided by the hosts’ efficiency.
Barcelona responded, but could not hold the level score
In the second half, the Catalans found an answer through Xavi Espart, who equalised in the 55th minute and brought the match back to square one.
However, PSG regained control of the scoreline in the 72nd minute, when Lucas Hernández scored the goal that restored the Paris side’s lead.
Yamal levelled temporarily, Vitinha struck immediately
Barcelona did not sit back and managed to equalise again in the 79th minute through Lamine Yamal, suggesting the contest would remain open until the final seconds.
But PSG’s response was immediate: just two minutes later, Vitinha made it 3-2, in a moment that effectively broke the momentum of the visitors’ comeback.
Fabian Ruiz settled it late
In the 87th minute, Fabian Ruiz added the hosts’ fourth goal, sealing the 4-2 result and giving the match a more emphatic finish on the scoreboard than what was seen on the pitch for most of the game.
For PSG, this was a significant win in an emotion-filled contest, while Barcelona leave Paris empty-handed after a match in which they responded twice but failed to protect the scoreline.
The scorers in the match were Doué in the 38th minute, Lucas Hernández in the 72nd, Vitinha in the 81st and Fabian Ruiz in the 87th for PSG, while Barcelona’s goals came from Xavi Espart in the 55th minute and Lamine Yamal in the 79th.
The match produced six goals and several twists over 90 minutes, turning the clash in Paris into one of the most entertaining Champions League fixtures of the night.
