Another serious incident has shaken Roskovec, where a 35-year-old man identified as Nertil Buzi released his ex-fiancée, whom he had been holding hostage following the criminal episode at her family home. According to reports from the scene, the intervention came after the area was surrounded by RENEA forces, while police were trying to secure the surrender of the suspected perpetrator.

The hostage-taking ends, but not the operation
According to the reported information, the 35-year-old released the young woman with the initials R.P., whom he had been holding hostage after the serious incident that occurred at her family home in Roskovec.
Her release reduces the immediate risk to the hostage’s life, but it does not end the situation, as the suspected perpetrator remains surrounded by police.
One person killed in the family
In this incident, 55-year-old Arben Plaka was killed. The full circumstances of the crime have not yet been made clear publicly.
At this stage, official information remains limited, and there is still no full picture of the sequence of events that led to the killing and then to the hostage-taking.
RENEA surrounded the area
According to reports, the RENEA special forces have surrounded the area where the 35-year-old is located. Their presence indicates that authorities considered the situation high-risk.
However, beyond brief operational notices, the institutions have still not provided full clarification on how the case was handled and how long it took police to take control of the situation.
Negotiations for surrender
The official version says negotiations are under way for the surrender of the suspected perpetrator, who remains surrounded by police forces.
Pending fuller communication from the authorities, several key questions remain unanswered about the chain of events, the response on the ground and the measures taken to prevent escalation.
The case in Roskovec draws attention once again not only to extreme violence in family relationships, but also to the need for greater transparency from police when such incidents escalate into hostage-taking and special operations.
So far, the only confirmed fact is that the hostage has been released, while the suspected perpetrator has not yet surrendered.
