A collision between two vehicles on the Fier–Patos road left one of the drivers injured, while police went to the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
Collision on the Fier–Patos stretch
The accident happened at the place known as “Çezma e Mbyetit,” a point on the Fier–Patos road where two vehicles were involved.
According to preliminary information, an Audi driven by a citizen identified by the initials U. Xh. collided with a Volkswagen driven by a citizen identified by the initials N. D.
One injured person taken to hospital
The driver of the Audi was injured in the collision.
He was transported urgently to the Fier Regional Hospital, where he is under the care of doctors.
Police at the scene, causes still unclear
Police services are in the area and, according to the official version, are working to clarify the causes and dynamics of the accident.
At the same time, intervention is also under way to manage traffic on this road segment, while the full circumstances of the incident remain unclear.
