The fire in Krujë’s Abazë neighborhood reignited again on Tuesday evening, renewing concern over the response on the ground. According to residents’ reports, the relevant authorities had not yet arrived near the seat of the fire at the time the complaint was made.
Flames returned in the evening
The reactivation of the fire in Abazë comes after a difficult day for the Krujë area, where two active fire fronts were reported. The spread of the flames was aided by the wind, making the situation harder to control.
According to the version reported so far, there is currently no danger to residential areas from this fire front, although the lack of an immediate presence by the authorities on the ground has increased residents’ concern.

Residents’ complaint that teams have still not arrived at the fire scene once again highlights the problem of a timely response in fire cases, especially when weather conditions favor the spread of the flames.

In the Krastë–Halil area, the situation worsened in the early morning hours, increasing the risk to homes. According to official reports, intervention by two helicopters has normalized the situation.
Operational forces are continuing their work to control and fully extinguish the fire front, while it remains to be seen how sustainable this intervention will be in the face of possible reactivations.
Eight active fire fronts during the afternoon
During the afternoon, eight active fire fronts were reported in the counties of Tirana, Fier, Durrës, Gjirokastër and Dibër, a picture that shows the broad scope of the emergency.
According to official data, 165 operational personnel and 85 members of the Armed Forces have been engaged in operations to manage the situation, while seven aerial missions by helicopters and two missions by Air Tractor aircraft have also been carried out.
