Another political meeting took place in Pristina between Albin Kurti and LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku, at a time when the sides are testing whether they can find an acceptable formula for the president and for unblocking the institutions.

The latest meeting between Kurti and Abdixhiku
Vetëvendosje leader Albin Kurti began his latest meeting this afternoon with Democratic League of Kosovo leader Lumir Abdixhiku.
The move comes as part of political negotiations between the two camps, at a stage when it remains unclear whether the discussions will produce a concrete agreement or merely push back the deadlines of the institutional crisis.
Focus on a consensus president
According to the political version made public, the talks are tied to the possibility of reaching an agreement on the election of a consensus president.
This development comes after the LDK withdrew from its demands for joint governance with Vetëvendosje, shifting the weight of the negotiations toward building a minimal compromise over key institutional posts.
Vjosa Osmani also at the meeting
Abdixhiku was accompanied at this meeting by former president Vjosa Osmani and LDK deputy leader Lutfi Haziri.
Osmani’s presence adds political weight to the table, although so far there are no further public details about the specific role she is expected to play in these discussions.
What Kurti said before the meeting
Before the meeting began, Kurti said the discussion would focus on constituting the institutions.
“I will meet with the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, and we will see how we can move forward in order to constitute the institutions of the 11th legislature, naturally in good faith and with a positive atmosphere as always,” he said.
For the moment, no concrete results from the meeting have been made public.
It remains to be seen whether the latest contact between Vetëvendosje and the LDK will serve a real agreement or merely keep open a process that so far has produced more political signals than institutional solutions.
