During his official visit to Albania, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a powerful message regarding the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, particularly condemning the actions of the Netanyahu government. In his address, Erdogan expressed deep concern over what he described as the ongoing genocide in Gaza, calling it a “common shame for all humanity.”
“The Netanyahu government now threatens the global order,” Erdogan declared, emphasizing the gravity of the situation. He strongly criticized the Israeli government’s actions in Gaza, which he stated had been continuing for a year, causing severe humanitarian suffering.
Erdogan called for immediate international action, urging the global community to unite in demanding a permanent ceasefire. “We, as the international community, need to do our best to ensure a permanent ceasefire, deliver humanitarian aid, and put pressure on Israel,” he said.
The Turkish president stressed the importance of collective global efforts to bring about peace, holding Israel accountable for its actions, and ensuring that humanitarian aid reaches those in need in Gaza. He reiterated the need for international pressure, stating, “We need to do our best to put the necessary pressure on Israel.”
Erdogan’s remarks reflect Turkey’s firm stance on the Palestinian issue and signal a call for stronger international intervention to halt the violence and suffering in Gaza. His speech has been seen as a direct condemnation of the Israeli government’s policies and a plea for global responsibility to restore peace and stability in the region.
