Friday brings an unstable turn in the weather in Albania. According to the forecast, cloud cover and rainfall will affect most of the territory, while some areas are also expected to see local thunderstorms.

Rain in most of the country
Today’s forecast calls for rainfall across most of Albania, with intensity ranging from light to locally moderate.
The counties where rainfall is expected to be more noticeable are Shkodra, Kukës, Dibër, Tirana, Elbasan, Berat, Korçë and Gjirokastër. In the other counties, rain is forecast to be mostly light.
Isolated storms during the day
During the daytime hours, some areas may also see local storms accompanied by thunder.
These episodes may bring temporary deterioration in weather conditions, especially during certain parts of the day.
Temperatures remain moderate
Temperatures are expected to range from 17 degrees Celsius in the coolest areas to 26 degrees Celsius in the warmest parts of the country.
This means that, despite the rainfall, no strong temperature extremes are forecast for Friday.
Wind strengthens during storm periods
The wind will blow from the northwest to the northeast, at an average speed of 5 to 10 meters per second.
When local storms develop, wind intensity may temporarily increase.
For travel during the day, especially in areas where heavier rain and thunder are expected, weather conditions may change quickly.
The overall picture for the day remains that of unstable weather, with rain, cloud cover and unsettled intervals in some counties of the country.
