Official figures show 34 fire outbreaks reported across the country in just 24 hours, while 5 of them remain active. According to the Ministry of Defense, the most problematic situation is concentrated in Tirana County and Dibër, where forces remain engaged on the ground.

According to the official version, of the 34 outbreaks reported during the past 24 hours, 5 are still active and 2 others are being kept under monitoring.
The Ministry of Defense says a total of 481 operational personnel and 44 firefighting vehicles have been engaged in wildfire management operations. Support has also included 105 members of the Armed Forces, 2 Armed Forces firefighting vehicles, 3 helicopters and 1 AIR TRACTOR aircraft.
Dajti and Dibër, the points where the fire remains active
According to the published data, the active outbreaks are concentrated in the counties of Tirana and Dibër.
On Mount Dajti, intervention is continuing after the reactivation of three fire outbreaks. There, according to the Ministry, 25 firefighting and protected areas personnel have been engaged, as well as 20 members of the Armed Forces.
In Dibër County, the outbreaks in Qafë e Helmës, Vajkal, Sllatinë and Komsi remain active. Authorities claim that there is currently no risk to residential areas in these zones.
How many forces have been engaged in the hottest areas
In Vajkal, according to the official report, 61 personnel have been engaged, including 30 members of the Armed Forces.
In Sllatinë, 78 personnel are operating, while in Komsi, 25 Armed Forces personnel have also been involved. These are some of the points where the main burden of intervention remains on the ground.
Outbreaks under control and interventions from the previous day
In Elbasan, the outbreaks on Mount Dardha and Mount Qukës are under monitoring and, according to the institutions, do not pose a risk to residential areas.
During yesterday, there was also intervention in Tërbaç, in Vranisht of Himarë, where ground forces, 2 helicopters and 1 AIR TRACTOR were engaged. Intervention was also carried out in Xhyrë of Librazhd, where 1 Armed Forces helicopter also took part.
Both of these outbreaks have been declared extinguished by the authorities.
The National Civil Protection Agency says it is following the situation in coordination with the prefectures, municipalities and other structures of the civil protection system.
The official statement stresses that operational capacities remain on standby, with priority given to protecting lives, homes and property.
