The weekend is expected to bring another spell of unstable weather across the country, with rain in most of the territory and a risk of short-lived thunderstorms, lightning and hail in some areas. According to the forecast made public by meteorologist Elida Maloçali, the thermometer will drop even further in the coming days.

Rain returns to most of the country
According to the meteorologist’s forecast, Saturday will be marked by cloudy weather with alternating clear spells and light rain across a wide part of the country.
Short-lived thunderstorms are also forecast for Saturday, making the weekend far from stable, especially in areas where cloud cover develops more quickly during the day.
On Sunday, widespread rainfall and higher risk along the coast
For Sunday, the forecast calls for cloudy weather with occasional clear intervals, while rainfall is expected to be light to moderate across most of the territory.
According to this forecast, along the coastline, mainly in the northwest and southwest, as well as locally in central areas, rainfall may intensify to heavy and appear in the form of short-lived thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning and locally by hail.
Stronger wind on the coast and rougher sea
Winds are expected to blow from the southern quadrant at speeds of around 8 metres per second.
Along the coast, during cloud development, wind speed may reach 17 to 18 metres per second. This is also expected to affect the sea, where wave conditions are forecast at force 3 to 4.
Temperatures fall over the weekend, and further next week
At midday, temperatures over the weekend are forecast not to exceed 24 to 25 degrees Celsius, confirming a noticeable drop compared with the warmer days.
Next week, according to the forecast, will also remain under the influence of relatively unstable conditions, with light rain on most days. At midday, temperatures are expected to fall further, to 19-20 degrees Celsius.
The forecast signals a weekend and start to the week with unsettled weather, with rainfall and lower temperatures expected to be the dominant features across most of the country.
