Rain returns to the northeast as Kukës faces a sudden temperature drop

Rain returns after nearly two months of drought

Rainfall returned this Saturday to the northeast after a period of around two months of drought.

In the early morning hours, weather conditions in Kukës deteriorated, bringing thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds.

No damage reported so far

Although the rainfall was temporarily intense, the amount of rain remained minimal.

So far, no problems or damage have been reported in the area.

Temperatures drop by around 10 degrees in Kukës

The change in the weather has been accompanied by a noticeable drop in temperatures in the Kukës region.

Both minimum and maximum values have fallen by around 10 degrees Celsius compared with the previous day.

If the thermometer reached as high as 34 degrees Celsius a day earlier, today’s maximum temperature is expected to remain below 24 degrees.

More autumn-like scenes in mountain areas

The return of rainfall and cooler weather has significantly changed the landscape in the northeast.

Fog has appeared in valleys and mountain areas, while lower temperatures have replaced the heat of recent days.

The sharp fluctuation in temperatures and the rainfall, although limited, show a sudden shift in weather conditions in the northeast.

For Kukës and the surrounding areas, the day began with a completely different picture from the heat of the previous day.
