An explosion involving explosive material was recorded this evening in Shkodër, this time in the yard of a teacher’s home. The official version speaks of limited material damage, while the perpetrators still remain unidentified.
The incident in the “Qemal Stafa” neighborhood
According to police, at around 21:30 a small amount of explosive material was thrown into the yard of a home in the “Qemal Stafa” neighborhood in Shkodër.
The home is owned by 60-year-old Metin Bushati, identified as a teacher. At this stage, there is no official information on the circumstances or motive of the attack.
Minor damage, no injuries
The explosion caused only minor material damage, while no injuries have been reported.
However, the fact that the explosive material was thrown in a residential area once again raises questions about security and about the authorities’ ability to prevent such incidents.
Perpetrators still unidentified
According to the official version, the explosive material was thrown by persons who have not yet been identified.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecution, is carrying out actions to clarify the circumstances and identify the perpetrator or perpetrators. So far, police have not disclosed further details from the investigation.
The incident adds another troubling episode in the city, while the main answers regarding motive and responsibility still remain without public clarification.
