A serious criminal incident has been reported in the village of Vidhisht, in Roskovec, where according to the official version a 35-year-old shot at his former father-in-law and former mother-in-law with a hunting weapon. The 58-year-old man lost his life, while the injured woman is in hospital under doctors’ care.
What police say about the incident
According to Police, the incident happened at around 06:00 on Friday morning in the village of Vidhisht. The suspected perpetrator is a citizen with the initials R. B., 35 years old.
According to the same version, he is suspected of killing his former father-in-law, citizen K. P., 58, with a hunting weapon, and injuring his former mother-in-law, citizen B. P., about 55 years old.
The injured woman is in hospital
The injured woman was transported for medical assistance and is in hospital under doctors’ care.
So far, no other official details have been made public about her health condition or the circumstances that preceded the attack.
Flight after the crime and search efforts
From the first investigative actions, Police say the suspect left the scene by vehicle together with his former wife, taking the hunting weapon with him.
After being notified of the incident, police services set up checkpoints and launched intensive searches to locate and capture the 35-year-old.
