A 17-year-old was injured in a boat incident in Vlora, while the Police’s preliminary version says the minor slipped and fell onto the engine section during the voyage. At this stage, authorities have provided only initial information, and the full circumstances remain to be clarified.
What the official version says
According to the Vlora Police announcement, the incident happened at around 16:50, when a boat was traveling from the Karaburun Peninsula toward the pier in Vlora.
Authorities identified the operator of the vessel by the initials E. I., 32 years old, while the injured passenger is the 17-year-old with the initials S. Ç.
How the minor was injured
According to the Police’s preliminary version, during the voyage the 17-year-old is suspected to have slipped and fallen onto the engine section of the boat.
As a result, he suffered injuries to his legs. So far, no other details have been made public about the safety conditions on the vessel or the exact dynamics of the incident.
Transport to hospital
The injured teenager was transported by ambulance to the Vlora Regional Hospital, where according to Police he is under the care of doctors.
There is still no full official communication on his health condition beyond the fact that he is receiving medical treatment.

Police said the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecution, has begun procedural actions to clarify the full circumstances of the incident.
