A serious incident has shaken Roskovec, where 35-year-old Nertil Buzi is accused of killing his former father-in-law and wounding his former mother-in-law before fleeing the scene. As special forces and police have sealed off the area, a claim has also surfaced that he lost £730,000, an allegation that for now remains only the version of the fugitive suspect.

What happened in Vidhishtë, Roskovec
According to information reported so far, this morning Nertil Buzi shot dead his former father-in-law, 55-year-old Arben Plaka, and wounded his former mother-in-law, Belere Plaka, in the village of Vidhishtë in Roskovec.
After the incident, the 35-year-old fled the crime scene and took his former partner with him, later releasing her after the area was surrounded by RENEA forces.
The claim over £730,000
During his escape, Buzi was reported to have appeared in a distressed emotional state and to have claimed that relatives of his former partner had taken £730,000 from him.
This claim has not been verified by authorities and, at this stage, remains a statement attributed to a person suspected of a serious crime who continues to evade arrest.
Large police operation in the area
Numerous police forces have been deployed on the ground, including the Special Operational Force, RENEA, FNSH and the Fier Local Police Directorate.
According to the official version, the operation has extended to the village of Çerven, on the border with Mallakastër, near the village of Drenie, where the 35-year-old is suspected of hiding. Searches are being carried out on the ground and with drones from the air.
Police appeal and unanswered questions
Police have asked for the public’s cooperation with any information that could help capture the suspected perpetrator.
Meanwhile, the incident also raises questions about the circumstances that led to this escalation of violence, while the claims about the money and the dynamics with the former partner’s family still remain without independent clarification from the investigation.
At this stage, the confirmed fact remains that the suspected perpetrator is still on the run and that the police operation is continuing in several areas of Fier and Mallakastër.
For the rest, including the motive and the claim over £730,000, the versions must pass through the filter of the criminal investigation.
