Another infrastructure problem in Tirana is being denounced publicly, this time by a majority MP himself. Erion Braçe says that although work was carried out on a road in the Komuna e Parisit area to clear inert waste, traffic remains blocked and the damage on the ground is still clearly visible.
Public complaint from the scene
Through a Facebook post, Braçe reacted to the situation on one of the roads in the Komuna e Parisit area. According to him, the cleaning has been carried out, but the main problem has not been solved, as the road and sidewalks remain blocked.
In the video published, the MP appears together with the local village head and calls on the responsible structures of the Municipality of Tirana to intervene in order to restore the axis to a functional condition.
Criticism of municipal structures
Braçe directly raises questions about the role of the municipal police and other monitoring structures on the ground, suggesting that the intervention has been left halfway. In his version, the damage to the road is clear and action is lacking to fully reopen it for residents.
He mentions the municipal police, the road traffic sector, the construction police and the territorial protection inspectorate, calling for responsibilities not to remain only in statements or partial interventions.
Not only the blockage, but also visual pollution
In addition to the state of the road, the socialist MP has also raised concern about the walls near the apartment buildings, which he describes as visually polluted. According to him, this situation remains problematic especially in an area where families and children live.
He calls for the space in front of the buildings to be cleaned and painted, considering the current condition of the walls in the area unacceptable.
The cleaning was done, but the road remains a problem
Braçe’s reaction shows that part of the work has been carried out, specifically the removal of inert waste. However, the core of his complaint is that the intervention has still not produced a real solution for traffic and the normal use of the road.
The denunciation made publicly by a Socialist Party MP once again puts the focus on the way urban problems are managed in the capital, especially when interventions begin but are not fully completed by the responsible institutions.
In essence, Braçe’s reaction does not speak of an isolated incident, but of a familiar pattern in Tirana: partial cleaning, a damaged road and responsibilities spread across several structures without a complete solution on the ground.
For residents, the issue remains practical: the road must be opened, the damage repaired and the public space must not be left in an unacceptable condition.
