Tensions on two fronts of the protest
The protest unfolded at two main points. One group of protesters remained in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, where speeches and chants against the government continued, while the other group concentrated near one of the building’s rear entrances.

Police seal off the area and use tear gas

The political demands remain the same
Despite the tension and the police intervention, speeches by protesters and chants against the government continued in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
The protest’s main demand remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. Other demands voiced at the rally also included changing the political class and establishing a transitional government.
